KATELYN YEARY BALLET
A native of Beaumont, Texas, Katelyn began her dance training at Beaumont Ballet Theatre and continued through Beaumont Civic Ballet and Texas Ballet Theatre. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Dance, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Oral Roberts University in 2012. After graduation, Katelyn went on to teach ballet at Tulsa Ballet's Center for Dance Education, School of Nashville Ballet and most recently, she is on faculty at Ballet Austin where she teaches ages 6 and up through Level 3 in the Ballet Austin Academy. Katelyn strives to make every child feel seen, known and wanted in her classroom.
tee brown HIP HOP
Tee Brown is a multi-talented artist with a background in martial arts, hip hop, and step dance. Currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Broken Arrow Playhouse Theater, he has experience casting, directing, choreographing, and teaching in a variety of arenas. While pursuing his degree at Oral Roberts University in Drama/Television/Film, Tee was introduced to the world of professional dance and fell in love with it. After graduation, he danced professionally with Living Water Dance Community, Tulsa Modern Movement, Portico Dance Theatre, and the Tulsa Opera. He has choreographed numerous productions and continues to hone his skills and push creative boundaries.
From Edmond, Oklahoma, Bethanie began her dance training in ballet at Metro School of the Arts and continued on to receive her degree in Dance Performance from Oral Roberts University in 2012. Bethanie attended the American Dance Festival in 2010, where she studied African dance with Sherone Price. Since graduating, she has taught classes in ballroom, ballet, creative movement for special education, and contemporary, and studied African and Caribbean styles with Aboubacar Camara at the Metropolitan School of Dance. Bethanie is currently a Physical Therapy student at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. She uses her passion for healing and rehabilitation while teaching, and approaches each classroom as a time to learn more about ourselves and each other.
